Simulation helps companies to minimize the cost of physical testing, develop new technologies, evaluate novel concepts and assess product performance in a low- risk virtual environment. Core-CAE offers flexible design solutions at an optimum cost and faster turnaround time that help our customers meet their business objectives consistently and cost effectively.

Some of Our Simulation Capabilities in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Design and Validation of Subsea, surface oil, and Gas equipment.

  • Concept design, Detailed engineering and, FEA validation of Wellhead system components like pack off, casings, pressure housings, Handling tools, as per ASME Section VIII Division 2 and 3.

  • Structural integrity evaluation of Christmas tree structures, ROV panels, Funnels, load-bearing components, etc.

  • Structural evaluation of High temperature and High-pressure components like blocks, control valves, connectors, tubing hangers, valve blocks, etc. as per ASME Section VIII Division 3.

  • The structural integrity of flow loops, flow spool, flange connections, bolt evaluation involving pressure, temperature, tolerance load, and nozzle loads as per ASME, API standards.

  • Pressure containment assessment, local damage evaluation, failure due to cyclic loading, ratcheting, and shakedown assessment as per ASME Section VIII Division 3.

  • Thermal Analysis to evaluate the temperature distribution during operating condition and, estimate the cooldown time during shutdown condition.

  • ROV impact and dropped object analysis of XT frames and protective structures as per DNV and NORSOK.

  • Offshore skids, reals, jumpers and frame design evaluation during lifting, transportation, in-place conditions as per DNV, ISO and ASME.

We have the capability to perform.

  • Linear static structural analysis,

  • Highly non-linear analysis involving yielding, large sliding conditions as in pack off seal simulation.

  • Linear and Nonlinear Buckling analysis.

  • Steady-state and transient thermal analysis.

  • Fatigue and fracture analysis.

  • Explicit dynamic analysis.

  • Preload assessment, bolt loads, and weld assessment.

  • Addressing review comments such as DNV, LLOYDS, and FEA Report Documentation.

We have experience in the qualification of,
Wellhead systems, pack off, pressure housings, handling tools, Christmas trees modulus, chokes, valve blocks, valves, tubing hangers, connectors, pipe fittings, flow loops and flow pools, ROV panels and protective structures, lifting and transport skids and frames, etc,

Buckling Analysis Of Suction Anchor Used In Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas As Per EN 1993 Part 1-6 & DNVGL-RP-C208

The objective of this FEA is to determine the nonlinear buckling capacity (GMNIA) of the suction anchor under the application of suction pressure. Nonlinear buckling analysis is performed as per EN 1993-1-6 and safety factors as per DNVGL-RP-C208. The utilization ratio is checked against the required suction pressures to penetrate into the sediment.

XT Flowloop Analysis as per API 6A and Hydrogen Induced Stress Cracking (HISC) as per DNVGL RP F112.

The purpose of the FEA is to ensure the flowloop design is structurally fit for purpose. This includes being able to withstand the rated pressures and temperatures as well as all other additional loads. Key considerations for the flowloop analysis are fabrication tolerance, stack-up tolerance, erosion and corrosion, self weight, pressure and template, frame deflections and external forces. The folwloop design was assessed for all the mentioned load combinations as per API 6A and Cat2 of DNVGL RP F112.
